4. Executive Summary

Galaxy DAO is an organization built on the ideals of financial abundance, psychological well-being and equity, focused on assisting its users & members realize their goals of economic prosperity and sharing profits with its members. The DAO will run on a progressively decentralized model, beginning as a startup, whereby the executive team will utilize their wealth of experience to take decisions to ensure the fastest and most efficient path to growth, then gradually decentralize by involving the community in decision-making processes, until finally the DAO will become majority community governed.

Galaxy DAO will offer various services to aid users in reaching their financial ambitions.

Trade Planets

Trade Planets is the first service Galaxy DAO will offer; Currently trading exchanges exist which offer both forex and crypto trading. However, traditional exchanges offering crypto trading do so through derivative products, crypto trading platforms do not tend to offer forex trading, and platforms that do offer both direct forex and crypto trading do not possess their own native cryptocurrency utility token. Trade Planets will fill this gap, and provide a place where users can trade directly with cryptocurrencies and etc, while utilizing blockchain technology for benefits within the exchange.

GemTrade LLC Acquisition

Galaxy DAO has acquired GemTrade LLC, operator of former forex exchange GemForex in order to quickly increase userbase of Trade Planets with users who are already proven to be interested in forex trading. Former GemForex users had their trading accounts frozen and withdrawals halted when GemForex ran into solvency issues in late 2022, and as a result former GemForex traders have not been able to utilize their credit rights held within the exchange. Galaxy DAO understands the frustrations former traders have suffered due to the issues GemForex faced, and as such have issued all former traders with tokens representing their credit rights within GemForex which confer various benefits upon the users.

Tokens

Galaxy DAO will offer various tokens with various utilities in all parts of the DAO and its services & functions.

PNT

PNT will be the native utility token of the Trade Planets exchange. PNT will be a publicly tradable token and possess various advantages & utilities within Trade Planets.

GBOND

GBOND is the token credited to former GemForex traders which represents their credit rights from GemForex with Galaxy DAO, and comes in a locked state. Locked GBOND earns automatic interest for holders and will continue to earn automatic interest for as long as it is locked. Unlocking GBOND confers the benefits of access to lending and staking pools to holders, but will not accrue automatic interest once unlocked.

stGBOND

stGBOND is a publicly tradable token which adds liquidity and expands the possibilities of GBOND. stGBOND can be earned through the GBOND staking pool and will possess utilities within the Trade Planets exchange. stGBOND can be bought on the open market, but can only be earned using GBOND, so only former GemForex traders will be able to earn stGBOND without having to purchase it.

Galaxy DAO Governance Token

Galaxy DAO will introduce a publicly tradable token in future which will have the purpose of governance of the DAO through voting functionality based on a DAO member’s token holdings.

Revenue Share

Part of Galaxy DAO’s founding principles is that of equity and sharing gains with the community. To this end, Galaxy DAO will share a portion of its revenue with its members in future. Revenue Sharing will be mediated through PNT token.

Launchpad

Galaxy DAO believe in looking toward the future and building a better world. Technology is how we as a species will solve future problems, and to this end Galaxy DAO will contribute by releasing a Launchpad service to utilize its members expertise to incubate early stage tech startups. Galaxy DAO members will have the opportunity to be among the first to invest in these companies and investments will be mediated through PNT token.

Decentralized Governance

As a progressive DAO, the governance of Galaxy DAO will eventually become fully decentralized and decisions will be taken based on community initiatives and votes. These will include decisions on DAO direction and focus, and also decisions on new projects and services, in-keeping with Galaxy DAO’s founding principles.
